Day 1. The drive to Champhai will leave you speechless
Champai has the biggest stretch of plains in Mizoram which is used for rice cultivation and nights here showcases millions of stars twinkling in the sky. A trip to Ruantlang is a must do.
Day 2. One day should be dedicated to Rihdil Lake
The legendary lake is believed to have been the inevitable passage that spirits of the dead crossed on their way to their future abode known as Mitthi Khua. A permission has to be taken from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office at Champhaito visit this lake.
Day 3. Tamdil lake is the most popular lake in Mizoram
Visit the Tamdil lake which is developed as an important pisciculture centre bythe Fisheries Department and a holiday resort by the Tourism Department. Also don’t miss out the fish seed farm.
Day 4. You cannot miss these waterfalls!
From Aizwal take a drive to Vantawng waterfall and the magnificent waterfall of Tuirihiau. Stay over at Hmuifang Mountains.
Day 5. Let’s make the last day memorable at the Reiek mountain
Go for a short hike to the Reiek Peak and lose yourself with the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. The Mizo tribal village showcases the culture of the state.
