Ajmer is the city in Rajasthan 135 km away from Jaipur the pink city and the capital of Rajasthan. It is situated in the center of Rajasthan. The climate of Ajmer is very hot in summers.
Ajmer has been selected as one of the heritage cities for HRIDAY – Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana scheme of Government of India.
Ajmer is surrounded by the aravalli mountain and It is a pilgrimage center for the shrine of the Sufi Saint khawaja moinuddin chesty known as ajmer sharif dargha situated near ther hill of taragarh ajmer is mainly famous for its pilgrimage site ajmer sharif dargha many tourist and visitors come there to make prayer and for ziyarat . the main gate of the shrine is nizam gate made by the mughal emperor shah jahan. There are more places for the visitors to visit in Ajmer or near Ajmer.

Akbar palace and museum – It was built by Akbar the Mughal emperor,and this palace attract the tourists and people who loved Mughal history and architecture. The palace transformed in museum in 1908.the main bazaar is also very near to tha palace.

Ana Sagar lake –it is the historical man – made lake by by the maharaja anaji in (1135-1150 AD), the grandfather of Maharaja Prithviraj Chauhan. the lake is the Daulat Bagh, a garden laid out by Emperor Jahangir. Emperor Shah Jahan later added five pavilions, known as the Baradari, between the garden and the lake.

Aptaeshwar temple pushkar – Pushkar city is (11 km) away from ajmer an ancientHindu pilgrimage site in the city, famous for the temple of brahma. There are 3 temples in pushkar . The Aptaeshwar, Varaha and the Brahma temple.The Apteshwar temple is of Lord Mahadev (Shiva)the hindu god .This is one of the temples that were destroyed by Aurangazeb and were reconstructed later. The Aptaeshwar Temple is actually an underground.

The Kishangarh Fort was build in 1643 by Maharaja Roop Singh. It is said that an incident he saw once inspired him to get a fort built. this fort is located in kishan garh which is 27 km away from Ajmer.
